World Cocktail Day - May 13

World Cocktail Day was established to celebrate the rich history of the cocktail and recognize the craftsmanship and skill of the bartenders who have been mixing them for over 200 years.
This year's celebration will take place the weeks surrounding May 13th.

Is it mere coincidence that World Cocktail Day and Mother's Day occur on the same day? I think not. Being a mother is enough to drive anyone to drink - or is my experience unique?
