The Extraordinary Catalogue of Peculiar Inventions

Members of fraternal lodges at the end of the nineteenth century or early twentieth  century were likely to receive an unusual catalogue published by the DeMoulin Brothers Company of Greenville, Illinois. The catalogues featured fraternal initiation  devices and regalia.
See a slideshow of some of these unusual and, in my view, sadistic fraternal prank machines at Salon.

If you're interested in learning more you can buy the book.

Thanks Bruce!
