Dr Gregg Homer, from Stroma Medical in California said his Lumineyes technology uses a laser tuned to a specific frequency to turn brown eyes to blue.The laser energy removes the brown pigment, or melanin, from the top layer of the iris, and the blue eye colour emerges over the following two to three weeks.
The procedure only takes 20 seconds but once done it can't be reversed.

No! Don't do it! I love brown eyes! (Mine are blue -- much too common!)

ReplyDeleteI always loved my sister's big brown soulful eyes.
I purchased a pair of those (just for the colour) pair of contact lenses. The salesperson couldn't understand my choice, saying 'everone wants blue eyes'.
Turned out I just didn't suit brown eyes.
At least with the contacts, I could just stop wearing them.
My husband, sons, sisters and most of my other relatives have blue eyes. I love looking into deep brown eyes for a change.
