The Peeple vs Scott Walker

I know how serious the situation is in Wisconsin but I can't resist a peeps post.

Peep Show

A few years ago I was hooked on peeps posting. I swore I wouldn't do it again but it appears I've fallen off the wagon.

Peeps Show II

A bounty of mallow rained down on us this Lenten season. The Peeps came not like locusts but like meteors of great ambition and, yes, some arts-and-crafts psychosis.

Peeps Licensed Products Spring Into Stores

These might be nonedible but probably taste better than marshmallow peeps. I love them, they're cute, but let's face it they taste like cardboard.

Launching this spring and around the Easter holiday, Peeps branded products will appear in nonedible form as fine china, plush toys, home scents and greeting cards.

The partnerships include a line of porcelain and ivory fine china giftware and home décor items by Lenox (pictured). The initial Peeps line will feature the bunny and chick icons sculptured in pastel colors and accented with 24-karat gold. They are available at retail locations, online and through direct sales. Examples include an Easter ornament tree (SRP $152), an egg platter (SRP $100), tea lights (SRP $40), personalizable sculpted figurines (SRP $50) and salt & pepper shakers with a tray (SRP $60).

Plush toys and other branded items by Russ Berrie also will be launched.

Oops, I'm Doing It Again!

Back in the spring of 2006 I went on a Peeps blogging binge and I vowed to stop before it totally destroyed my life and my relationships with those who are most important to me. It looks like I've fallen off the wagon. I just can't resist these pastel seasonal treats when they're placed in delightful tableaux.

The photo above could do double duty as an illustration for my vegan strip club post.
