Death By Firing Squad

I haven’t seen checked in on Jesse Welles lately. Miss Cellania posted his new song about Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s announcement  that the Pentagon would livestream the military execution by firing squad of Nidal Hasan, a former Army major and psychiatrist convicted by court-martial of murdering 13 and wounding 32 at Ft. Hood, Texas, in 2009. No one can argue that this was a heinous crime but both Republican and Democratic critics have stated that the public execution was beneath the United States. I am against all capital punishment but this is even more egregious. Livestreaming an execution is what we have come to expect from ISIS and Al Qaeda, not America.

*Update*: Bowing to public pressure, Trump has cancelled the livestream of the execution of Nidal Malik Hasan.
