When Keith Haring was still a student at the School of Visual Arts in the 1970s he painted one of his distinctive murals in what was a student exhibition space in TriBeCa. The mural was covered over and temporarily forgotten. In 2001 Haring’s mural was discovered and authenticated during a renovation. The current owner, a tech executive, is selling the property for $25 million.
