Alex used to send me stories to print in my newspaper /Memo/ In the early-middle 1990s, and then he'd call and we'd talk on the radio when I was at KMFB. He made many of his stories into videos like this one, using crayons and butcher paper and the video equipment from his wedding photography job. Here's the Amazon page for a book he wrote, which shows as Unavailable. I'll try to figure that out. I heard from him briefly on the phone a couple of months ago. He was homeless, in trouble with the law for a sad misunderstanding, and all of this on a transplanted liver. I've texted him and emailed him. If I learn anything I'll let you know.
