Don’t Play It Safe

I’m a day late to this party but the Sydney Opera House was officially opened on October 20, 1973. To celebrate their 50th anniversary, they posted a music video with a song written and performed by Tim Minchin called "Play It Safe." It is a tongue -in-cheek reference to the fact that the project never played it safe and survived controversy to become Sydney’s most important landmark and a Unesco World Heritage Site.

The video features artists who have performed at the venue over the years.
