This 1969 TV series, written by Rod Serling (under the pseudonym John Phillips), tells the story of a group of American students returning from a cultural exchange trip in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. Their plane crashes on a Pacific island that was intended to be used for nuclear tests that is now deserted, but well-provisioned. It sounds like the sort of cheesy show I would have watched back then but I've never heard of it before. Here's the pilot:
