Weird London Blue Plaques

This plaque is unusual because it includes a little picture. It’s also one of only a small number dedicated to animals (and the only one in London)


Blue Plaques are an homage to London's rich history and I love coming upon them when I walk around the city. The first one was awarded to Lord Byron in 1867. Sadly that plaque along with the building it was on disappeared in 1889. Weird London Blue Plaques is a site that tells you about some of the more unusual ones and includes a map showing where to find them.
