"So You Want to Write a Fugue?" is a satirical vocal piece by Canadian pianist Glenn Gould in the context of Gould's intensive investigation into compositions of Johann Sebastian Bach.



This tongue-in-cheek piece was composed in 1963 for a CBC television programme called "The Anatomy of the Fugue."
