A Machiya Renovation to Revitalize Suburban Shimane

Hinui Hitohi  (1 day in Hinui)  is an initiative by the Osaka-based design firm UMA that brings together architects, designers, chefs and other creatives to revitalize a small town by renovating a series of vacant townhouses and transforming them into a one-of-a-kind experience that immerses guests in the local food, environment and crafts of the area.
