Tired of voting for rats? Vote for a cat.

Morris the cat ran for mayor of the city of Xalapa, the capital of the state of Veracruz in the Mexican elections held this past weekend. Not surprisingly the purry politician did not win but reports say a significant number of votes were cast for him in Xalapa.
