This brilliant video is now 16 years old. It was Take 72, though they shot a total of 124 takes during the filming.The band worked with 12 trainers, 12 dogs, one goat, two furniture movers, and the rest of the production team for four weeks of training, choreography, rehearsal, and filming.

There’s no single specific date for the invention of photography but this year we can begin to celebrate 200 years since the oldest surviving photograph was produced. Joseph Nicéphore Niépce’s View from the Window at Le Gras was taken in 1826 or 1827 and is an obvious starting point for the medium that offered a new way of looking at the world around us.
