Two Hundred Years Of Photography

There’s no single specific date for the invention of photography but this year we can begin to celebrate 200 years since the oldest surviving photograph was produced. Joseph Nicéphore Niépce’s View from the Window at Le Gras was taken in 1826 or 1827 and is an obvious starting point for the medium that offered a new way of looking at the world around us.
