55 Years Ago an Apollo 15 Astronaut Dropped a Hammer And A Feather On The Moon

A long time ago the astronomer, physicist, engineer and polymath, Galileo, explored falling objects in gravity fields and the Apollo 15 astronauts thought they’d confirm his findings on the moon. Sure enough, because they were in a vacuum, there was no air resistance and the feather fell at the same rate as the hammer.
