Mabel will make your tea, run your bath, make your bed, do the vacuuming, shine your shoes, dust your ornaments, cook your dinner and do the dishes afterwards, walk the dog, mind the baby, do the shopping, check the bill from your Paris dress designer, mix cocktails, answer the door, defend your property from burglars and even do the ironing. She was supposed to be available in 1976 but I’m still waiting…
