Built in 1997 as the corporate headquarters for Longaberger baskets in Ohio, David Longaberger commissioned the building to look like one of the company’s signature baskets — not “inspired by” or “reminiscent of” but exactly like one. It’s on the market for $8.5 million.
The building has a 30,000-square-foot atrium with a glass ceiling. The handles that rise above it are heated in winter to prevent the formation of icicles that could crash through the glass.
