Collected by Thomas Hawke, we see a family – Helmut, Jeanne and Karl – at home, in Denver, Colorado, on a trip to Fort Bliss, Texas, young Karl  sat on ‘a hunter’s kill’ (a dead, guts-open deer), Karl’s birthday in 1955, and a family trip to White Sands National Park in New Mexico, in 1953.
