When we visited Argentina many years ago my husband and son took a bus trip to see Andean condors. I opted out because it was a very long trip. When they returned they said they viewed the condors flying hundreds of feet above and they looked like sparrows from that distance.
I can't decide if this is AI or a person in a condor suit. The head and neck never move and those thick legs. I'm leaning towards a small person in a costume. I've spent time in Bolivia and Peru and have never head of anybody getting close to a condor. I have been close to condors in California. Once when rock climbing at Pinnacles Nation Park I accidentally got within about 50 feet of one, it was accustomed to people and didn't really react to me.
