Sable Island

Gina Little for the Sable Island Institute

Sable Island is a small crescent-shaped island located on the edge of the continental shelf in the northern Atlantic about 300 kilometres southeast of Halifax, Nova Scotia. The island is staffed year-round by employees of Canada's National Parks agency, Parks Canada and is home to a colony of feral horses. Gina Little does a photoblog of the island for the Sable Island Institute. These photos are from April-June 2018.
