American New Wave pioneers John Cassavetes and Gena Rowlands lived in this 1940 house in Laurel Canyon for most of their lives together, raising their children here. After Rowlands’s death last year, the 4,305 sq ft home is now on the market for the first time in more than 60 years. It’s an Old Hollywood time capsule with a warmth that appeals to me.
Cool find. I just rewatched 'Gloria' and now want a Cassavetes retrospective.

Somehow it pleases me that they didn’t choose a glam makeover. It looks lived in and comfortable.
