We Are the Girls That Kill the Rats. This was just one of many vital and often physically demanding tasks undertaken by the Land Girls, who stepped in to fill the agricultural labor gaps left by men serving in the armed forces during WW2. “In the second half of life, we’re all expected to say how much happier we are than in our insecure twenties, how we wouldn’t swap places with our younger self, oh no, not even if you paid us. Hmm. Sometimes I feel that way, but not always.” 27 Notes On Growing Old(er)  Via Web Curios

I think the The Cat Cure has had a paradoxical effect on me.

Camille Clifford’s iconic Gibson Girl, had a classic hourglass figure. (I imagine there was some heavy duty corsetry involved.)
