An older friend’s father owned a matchbook factory. He lived until he was almost 100 and worked until a very advanced age. My friend always had a bowl on his coffee table with decorative matchbooks. Some were comical, others had the logos of famous hotels, restaurants and vintage attractions but none were as cool as these1930’s matchbooks that advertised naughty nightclub fun.
