The Guardian has published a report on the devastation to buildings and lives along a single street in Gaza that takes a close-up look at Gaza City’s main thoroughfare, Omar al-Mukhtar Street. Before it was bombed this street was full of life – shoppers in the day, friends and families on evening outings after dark.
