I was looking for something in my Blogger settings and when I scrolled down I noticed that there were comments awaiting moderation - 984 of them going back more than a year! I used to receive notices by email so that I could filter out spam. Apparently this setting had inadvertently been turned off (by me). I have just spent a few hours reading each and every comment and have belatedly posted all of them. I will be receiving comments by email for moderation from now on and thank all who took the time to comment on my posts. (BTW I was surprised to find only six spam comments among them - I used to be inundated with ads).
After posting a few comments, and never seeing them, I gave up on commenting on your blog.
ReplyDeleteAnd that is why I do not post comments here any longer - because I did, and it has not appeared. And that leads to not wanting to read your blog, because, as we know, the comments can be better than the posting itself.
