Owen Kelly’s Memory Skirt



It started as a practice piece for a 5 year old boy to keep him occupied and out of trouble. Over 50 years later it is almost done with just enough room for a final memory to be added one day. All 4 of his children's names are stitched into the fabric, an old Irish 2p coin is on there too, to mark the change to the Euro. It hangs in Owen Kelly’s studio as a reminder of many wonderful people, times and places.
