This landscape intervention by Spanish architecture practice Kauh reclaims the unique heritage site of La Hoya for the city of Almería, Spain. The area was a neighbourhood during the Middle Ages but was later abandoned, turning into an agricultural space that evolved over the centuries until its decline before becoming a forgotten vacant lot.
The historic landscape renovation of the Mediterranean Gardens of La Hoya will comprise an archeological reserve and a sanctuary for flora and fauna in the center of the city.
