Ripley - Trailer

In 1999 I watched the film adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's thriller The Talented Mr. Ripley. The movie starred Matt Damon, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow and was directed by Anthony Minghella. It was a beautiful movie, shot in Italy, and the plot held my interest. I discovered that Highsmith had written three other Ripley novels so I read all of them. Then I read more about Highsmith’s life and career, became a real fan, and eventually read all her other books. I’m really looking forward to watching this new limited series on Netflix.
