Cracking the Uncrackable Code

In 1990, artist Jim Sanborn’s massive sculpture Kryptos was installed on the grounds of CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia. It contains 865 letters and 4 question hand cut into an S‑shaped copper screen using jigsaws. Three of its four panels have been deciphered leaving the 97-character phrase from the final panel to be cracked.
