British gardener, garden designer and landscape architect, Russell Page, was fifty-six years old and had not had a garden of his own since he was eighteen but he had a fantasy of what his ideal garden would look like. I have recently left my overgrown perennial garden, a 36 year labour of love, behind and am now faced with a vast expanse of grass that resembles a full size football field. I’m waiting for a vision to come to me.
