Soft Shells is a series by Canadian photographer Libby Oliver that shows figures wearing every single piece of clothing they own. The photos become reflections on personality, attainment, collection, and status, while also creating a sense of anonymity that hides the faces from view.
We are in the process of moving to a new home and Mr. Nag’s clothing almost required a truck of its own. He is not a clothes horse, he simply never throws anything away. I’d be interested in seeing what sort of photograph she would make of him.
