Over the years we had a number of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who would escape the back yard whenever our kids and their friends left the gate open. Mr Nag and I would get on our bikes and frantically search all over town for them. It was always a tremendous relief to find them safe and sound but I admit to swearing a lot under my breath.
