RIP Astrud Gilberto

Astrud Gilberto, the queen of Brazilian bossa nova, has died at the age of 83. She provided the soundtrack for many of our sunporch evenings over the years. Her song “The Girl From Ipanema” became one of the most-covered songs in pop music history.
