RIP Keith Reid, lyricist for Procol Harum
Keith Reid, the lyricist for Procol Harum whose poetic vision on their debut single Whiter Shade of Pale made it a defining song of the 1960s, died last week at the age of 76. Hearing this song always evokes emotional memory cues that take me right back to where I was when it topped the charts.
