On December 14, 2012 twenty tiny children and 6 of their teachers were brutally murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The incident prompted debate on gun control in the US but no meaningful reform. Ten years on there have been 189 shootings at schools around the US that have resulted in at least one fatality.
