An Experiment in Fox Domestication

These foxes are the result of a 60-year-long experiment begun by Soviet zoologist Dmitry Belyayev who began selectively breeding wild foxes for their dog-like friendliness toward humans.

      I first read the Russian studies about 12 years ago and I have wanted a tame fox ever since.
