The Lady and The Owl

The Lady and the Owl directed by William Canning is about a retired couple living near St. Catharines, Ontario (not far from my home) who devoted their lives to the care and rehabilitation of injured owls.

Kay died in 2019. Larry predeceased her in 2002.

  1. Owls are so cool, the A-10 Warthog of the bird world.
Every part of an Owl has a purpose, designed for a function, that’s often not readily apparent.
May this wonderful couple rest in peace.

    1. My younger son was fascinated by owls and Mr. Nag took him on a couple of guided owl prowls when he was little. I have never seen an owl in the wild but would like to.
