Russia With Weapons



Alexander Lobanov was a Russian outsider artist whose work was representative of the art brute style. Born in Mologa in 1924, Lobanov contracted meningitis before five years old and was left deaf and mute. He became increasingly violent and was confined to a psychiatric facility for five years. He was known for his portraits with guns.
