"The Perfect Love Letter Is I Write I Love You Backwards In The Air" was first performed in 1974 by James Lee Byars in front of the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. Here is a recent reenactment by an actor in front of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Oslo.
