Moving An Historic Home By Boat 1957

Turning the Tide is a documentary consisting of eight short films that tells the story of citizens who stopped a 1950's project to fill in part of the San Francisco Bay. In this video historic Lyford House is moved from Strawberry Point to Rogers Beach in Tiburon CA in December 1957 to save it from demolition.
