The Albergo Diurno Venezia is an underground Art Deco masterpiece in Milan built by Piero Portaluppi (1923-1926). The 1,200 square metre facility was divided into thermal baths, bathrooms, pedicure and manicure booths, ladies’ hairdressers, shower stalls, ironing and wardrobe facilities, a barber, a shoeshine, a newsagent’s, a bicycle garage, and a left luggage office.
