Gustave Gain's Delightful Autochromes



In the early 20th Century, French photographer and chemist Gustave Gain (1876-1945) was an adopter of autochrome, the industrial colour photography technique created by by the Lumière brothers in 1903. He took pictures of his family as well as still life at home and landscapes of his native Normandy and Brittany.
