Whale Retirement Home Planned For Nova Scotia

The Whale Sanctuary Project plans to create a sanctuary for eight captive belugas and orcas off the eastern shore of Nova Scotia using nets to enclose a 40-hectare inlet inlet. The area is about 300 times bigger than the largest whale tank in any marine park.
