Ancient Structure Made of Mammoth Bones

This 40-foot-wide, circular structure made from the skulls, skeletons and tusks of more than 60 woolly mammoths has archaeologists scratching their heads. They know that it was assembled by Ice Age hunter-gatherers on a site in Russia 25,000 years ago. Perhaps burning greasy mammoth bones helped them as they tried to strip meat off the mammoths before wolves and foxes moved in on the carcasses? We may never know.
