My cat Carmen |
An online quiz developed by researchers at the University of Guelph in Ontario shows video clips featuring cats' faces reacting to either a positive or negative event without environmental context clues. When 6329 people were shown the cats' faces, the average score was only 59%, revealing that people are not good at reading a cat's face.
Do you think you know what your cat is thinking simply by looking at its facial expression? Take the Cat Faces Quiz and to see whether you are indeed a cat whisperer. (I scored 7 out of 8 but am not sure whether that was a fluke.)
