The Professional 'Pigeon Spookers' Of Chiang Mai
I bet this is a profession you haven't considered: Many tourists who visit the Tha Pae Gate in Northern Thailand want to capture photographs of themselves in front of the wall with pigeons flying through the frame. That's where the 'pigeon spookers' come in. They charge about 20 Thai Baht (the equivalent of $0.65) to help stage the shot by stamping their feet or waving their arms to scare pigeons into the air.
