The Map That Captured The Soul Of Los Angeles

Joseph Jacinto Mora was the king of California pictorial cartography. To view a Mora map is to grasp that mapping can be an art form. His “Historical and Recreational Map of Los Angeles”  is a riot of color, jocular images, historical events, and fairly accurate geography of the City of Angels.
