Visible Distance / Second Sight was a temporary artwork by Jennifer Bolande that replaced advertising on sequentially placed billboards with perfectly aligned photos of the landscapes they blocked. This installation, done for DesertX, was located along the Gene Autry Trail near Vista Chino in Palm Springs, California. Unfortunately it is now permanently closed.
