Exoplanets are planets beyond our solar system. The first one was announced in 1992. In June NASA's planet counter ticked up to 4,000, then passed it by three, with 31 new discoveries. This video shows when and where exoplanets have been found on the sky, using music and colors to represent various features of the planets.
